2.Polyvinyl acetate is a thermoplastic polymer commonly used in glues, paints and many industrial adhesives. Most plastics and synthetic materials contain it. Polymers are essentially macromolecules that are joined together in a strong and durable way. Polyvinyl acetate is usually called "PVA" or "PVAc". It is not only flexible, but also has strong binding ability. This is one of the main reasons why it is popular in glue and other products.
